A Sweet Treat Lunch

Are Tuesdays harder than Mondays in your house, too? No one was motivated for school and everyone was dragging their feet to get ready. Since I had a few treats from my trip to IKEA yesterday I packed them a fun lunch to sweeten their day:

I also packed our rockin' Groovy Guitar Matkin (review coming soon!) and hope that makes them feel a little more enthusiastic about being in school!

Quick Lunches and A Panda Box

This is the sky as the kids were leaving for school today - beautiful.
I am looking forward to Daylight Savings however and a little more day light :)

We woke up late this morning - it has been a long week - and we did not have as much time to pack lunch.
So we packed hummus and pita chips, a ham and spinach sandwich with a star cut out and some chocolate covered raisins from the Halloween loot :) As always they also have water and yogurt.

My second grader has a very similiar lunch with hummus, pita bread and fairy bread and a mini chocolate tucked in his lunch box, too.

I was a little more creative with my first garder since he has not been eating a lot and I wanted to make lunch fun for him. We packed a triple CuteZCute chocolate spread sandwich, some dye-free chocolate animal crackers and a peanut butter and yogurt bar. I also packed him a juice instead of water today since I felt he needed it.
Happy Panda Lunch, Love!

Snack and Lunch

My kids loved the fairy bread idea so much that they have been taking it every day this week so far. I could not stir them into a different direction, so I am posting snack today first :)

For snack I packed some Enjoy Life Mountain Mambo Trail Mix , a cream cheese stuffed mini pepper carved into a Jack o' lantern, half an apple with a Jack o' lantern face and some whole wheat crackers. The snack is packed in our Lunchbot Trio.

Lunch is packed in Easylunchboxes and packed by my 6 year old :) He choose Goldfish crackers, Honey crackers, a squeezable applesauce and four mini chocolate spread fairy breads. I cut the shape of the car with one of my mini bento cutters and filled it with vegan sprinkles :)

Happy Lunch!
