Will the mouse get the cheese?

We woke up to a thunderstorm and sick kids so there will be no school lunches today. Instead I packed my daughter a fun lunch in her new Innobaby Din Din Smart Platter:

I packed her some banana and strawberry yogurt, a radish mouse trying to steal her cheese cubes, a fruit salad with honey and two mini cheese quesadillas.

My daughter loved the radish mouse and wondered if she was hungry, too. Maybe they can share the cheese ;) If you'd like to find out how to make this radish mouse check out THIS tutorial!

Day 3: Quesadillas

My kids asked for quesadillas for lunch today and I was happy to make them since they are fast and easy!

So here are our lunches from today:

I packed two slices of cheese quesadilla with a small gingerbread man quesadilla on top. I decorated the gingerbread man with cheese but it melted too fast so I added more cheese cut outs to make them stand out more. Also packed are pretzel rings and popcorn which reminded us of Christmas Tree decorations :) As always the kids also packed ice water and yogurt drinks.

I also made a Christmas tree quesadilla lunch. It has four quesadilla slices and the top slice is decorated with cheese stars and a star cupcake topper. They also have sour cream and salsa in Mini Dippers packed separately and popcorn and pretzel rings as well as ice water and yogurt drinks.

My oldest asked for a simple lunch and so he got 4 slices of quesadilla, pretzels, salsa, sour cream and a yogurt (not pictured). Like the others he also has ice water and in addition and small container with popcorn since he wanted the dip in his EasyLunchbox :)

Happy Tuesday!

This is our pirate lunch! I made all the kids two ship shaped cheese quesadillas by cutting one quesadilla with a sharp vegetable knife and using it as a stencil for the others. I decorated the ship with seaweed cannon holes and a Nori steering wheel (best cut out with scissors) and a pirate ship sail cupcake topper. My kids also packed vanilla yogurt with a scary seaweed scull and a treasure chest full of gold coins. As always we packed ice water and I added a small veggie snack box as well with cucumbers and peppers :)
I snuck in some piratey lunch notes as well, arrr.

Here is my piece of the map, Matey! Grab it and find the rest. Hope your will find the big treasure in the end!

To continue your treasure map hunt hop over to Bentomonsters and find the rest!

Happy Talk Like A Pirate Day and good luck to all!
