Mama and Daughter Lunches

Today's lunches are for my daughter and me.
We packed the boy's lunches and then some for ourselves as well :)

My lunch is packed in our Laptop Lunches bento box:
  • a kiwi fruit
  • left over fried rice with some carrot flowers
  • left over chicken on a bed of spinach salad with mushrooms and some left over crackers ( I also packed salad dressing in a separate mini dressing bottle - not pictured)
  • and carrots and celery sticks with a tablespoon of peanut butter

Girly's Lunch:

My daughter wanted lunch on her Innobaby Din Din Platter:
  • mini cucumbers
  • grapes
  • an apricot
  • Pirate Booty and
  • two mini heart shaped peanut butter sandwiches

Here are a few of the things I used to make lunch:

Day 4: Turkey Guacamole Wrap

I have to admit that today it was very hard not to grab for the jar of peanut butter and just make PBJs. We had a short night and one of my kids woke up sick.

But, we were strong and made some yummy Turkey Guacamole Wraps for today:

We packed apple sauce, pretzels and a Turkey and Guacamole wrap with salad. I also found a cute Lunchbox Love note to add and as always the kids packed ice water and yogurt as well. And I snuck in a small snowman chocolate ;)

Happy Wednesday!

G is for Gorilla

I found a cute Gorilla Omusubi set on Ebay a while ago and they finally arrived. My boys love them because they think the Gorillas look angry ~ to me they just looks like they have Unibrows. I'll let you judge ;)

Baby Gorilla is filled with Parmesan Couscous from last night and is packed in a coconut tree of chicken sandwiches, spinach leaves and two mini oatmeal cookies. I also packed apples and Goldfish crackers.

Mommy Gorilla (also filled with Parmesan Couscous) is nestled in Spinach leaves in between chicken sandwiches.  Packed also are apples and Goldfish crackers.

Angry (?) Daddy Gorilla (too much Parmesan Couscous in his belly?) refused any kind of leaves and is just nestled in between a few SunButter sandwiches with a monkey playing in some apples next to Goldfish crackers.

Happy Monday!

Finally Friday

Today is finally Friday :)
I found whole wheat bagels from our favorite bagel store in Boston at our local store and the kids all requested them for lunch today!

Lunch is a whole wheat bagel with lettuce and chicken salad on a bed of spring salad, veggie sticks and cut up carrots and cucumbers to add to the salad after the bagel is eaten :) The koala cup has a Balsamic salad dressing to add to the salad. As always the kids also brought ice water and yogurt :)

Happy Friday Everyone!
This was one long week ;)
